Apple Tart with Ulmo Honey and Rosemary

Ingredients


260g butter

120 g brown sugar

3 eggs

225 g of flour

40 g cornstarch

1 sachet of baking powder

2 apples

60g walnuts

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp grated nutmeg

¼ tsp ground cloves

1 tsp chopped rosemary leaves

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of milk

100 g of honey from Ulmo @reinamadre.cl

Preparation


Preheat the oven to 180º.

Line the bottom and the edges of a mold with parchment paper.

Peel the apples, core them and cut them into slices. Wash the rosemary leaves and chop them.

Melt 20 g of butter in a large pan, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar on top and add the apple slices. Saute until lightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool.

Put the cinnamon and ground cloves, nutmeg, flour, cornstarch, yeast and salt in a bowl and mix everything together.

In a separate bowl, beat the rest of the butter with the rest of the brown sugar, the honey and the vanilla extract until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating each time, add the flour mixture, milk, chopped rosemary, caramelized apples and chopped walnuts and mix until smooth.

Pour into the mold and bake for 30 to 35 min at 180°.

Remove from the oven and let cool on a rack, unmold with the help of parchment paper.
